I like fishing this with a small nymph tied on. The foam keeps the fly visible and on the surface. Very successful setup here in North Georgia.

These nymph patterns worked really well for some brown trout we were targeting. They held up really well after multiple fish and were the perfect size.

I love going into fly shops and all but it gets intimidating and pricey in a hurry. I ordered a couple dozens flies on flycrate (including bead head zebra midge) and will definitely be ordering more. The proof is in the picture below. Still catching fish in November in Colorado!

Was out on the river yesterday and action was very slow. Put on the black version of this fly and caught 8 fish in a matter of 20 minutes. One of which was 4.5lbs. Raising the rod tip retrieve was the key to success
