Attractor Flies

Whether they are flashy or bright, attractor flies are a category of patterns designed for prospecting for fish in unknown areas of water. Fly anglers don't always know what is 'hatching' or what fish are focusing in on. Instead of guessing what 'natural' pattern will work, the next best strategy is to fish with flashy patterns meant to catch their attention and urge them into opportunistically taking the fly. The overall versatility of attractor patterns also allows anglers to fish one flashy fly and cover a whole variety of aquatic insects and food sources.

In 2016, we launched our bootstrapped website to a small group of fly anglers. The business was slow for the first few years of operation as we barely made enough to keep the lights on.

Since then, we’ve added 100's of new fly patterns, published over 100 articles, hired a team of talented Americans, and donated over 18,000 flies to non-profits. It’s true, 2% of all sales is committed to Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing and their participants.

Placing an order without a membership is simple. You can browse our website, select the items you want, add them to your cart, and proceed to checkout. You’ll be prompted to provide your shipping and payment information to complete your order.

We are located in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania and ship all orders from our PA facility. Our staff are all based in the USA.
