Collection: Nymph Flies
Trout spend the majority of their time feeding subsurface. As anglers, we know that we have to bring the flies to them and imitate what they are feeding on. That's why we usually have our fly boxes stocked full of reliable nymph and wet fly patterns. Our collection features unique European-style nymphs, classics, flashy attractors, and natural nymph patterns. Fill your box with a variety of quality patterns so that no matter the weather, you're catching fish.

Because of your support weβve grown!
In 2016, we launched our bootstrapped website to a small group of fly anglers. The business was slow for the first few years of operation as we barely made enough to keep the lights on.
Since then, weβve added 100's of new fly patterns, published over 100 articles, hired a team of talented Americans, and donated over 18,000 flies to non-profits. Itβs true, 2% of all sales is committed to Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing and their participants.
The Fly Crate was built from the closet of my college dorm room and is now a thriving community of fly anglers. From everyone here at The Fly Crate, thank you for helping us become one of the greatest places to learn and shop fly fishing.
