Its lifelike representation of these aquatic insects is bound to grab the attention of even the wariest fish. The best way to fish these heavier stonefly nymphs is by combining it with a lightweight dropper like a caddis, mayfly, or midge emerger or placing this as your anchor fly, which would be at the very bottom of your multi-fly nymphing rigs.
