It’s no secret that trout love stoneflies and the only real question is what pattern should an angler pick! This Kompton Crusher nymph fly by Britten Jay is an attractor pattern. It’s got a more slender body than what you’d find on chunky Pat’s Rubber Legs and it’s packed with weight underneath for a faster sink rate.
We typically have this running point on our nymphing rigs for bigger rivers and streams. The Kompton Crusher is a hefty stonefly pattern that gets down to feeding depth quickly.
