A highly realistic profile of a Pale Morning Dun, also known as a PMD, mayfly with split realistic wings. These sit low in the water just within the surface tension. PMD hatches typically occur in flats or slow moving pools. Pale Morning Dun mayflies most commonly start to hatch in the late morning and afternoons from late May to early September.
