Britten Jay’s Golden Stone
$2.19
A golden stonefly with a black foam egg sack on the end of the abdomen. Golden stoneflies hatch all across the United States, but are very common in Western states. Females will be seen depositing their eggs over riffles and runs. Once golden stoneflies fall into the water, it’s a feast! Make dead-drifts along the grassy edges and wherever brush covers the banks.
They typically hatch from May through July.
